About TakeRate

TakeRate exists because the number that decides whether a small seller survives — the payout after fees — is the one number platforms make hardest to find. Every marketplace publishes a fee page. None of them publish a calculator that tells you what a specific product actually returns.

We build those calculators, show the arithmetic, and link every rate back to the platform's own page. We are independent: no marketplace pays us, and none of them review these pages before publication.

What we will not do

• Publish a rate without a source we can link to.
• Pretend a rate is verified when it is not — pages carry a status badge instead.
• Recommend a platform as “best”. The cheapest platform with no buyers is the most expensive one.

How the site is funded

Advertising and affiliate links. Neither influences which platforms we cover or what the numbers say. If a calculator is wrong, the correction is published whether or not it costs us a commission.

Corrections

Fee schedules change constantly and quietly. If you find a rate that does not match the source, tell us — rate corrections are the fastest thing we act on.
