Fee calculators for online sellers

What do you actually keep?

Every platform advertises a percentage. None of them tell you what lands in your account after the fixed fees, the shipping-inclusive fee base and the subscription. These calculators do — in one screen, with the maths shown.

The fee you see is not the fee you pay

A “6.5% transaction fee” plus “3% + $0.25” plus “$0.20 listing” is not 9.5%. On a $51 order it is 10.4% — and on a $12 order it is well over 20%. Fixed fees are regressive: they hurt cheap products far more than expensive ones.

Shipping is charged twice

Most marketplaces charge their percentage on the shipping you collect, then you still pay the carrier. Moving shipping into the item price does not avoid the fee — it just stops you from thinking of it as free.

Built for people who price things for a living

Every line itemised

No single blended “fees” number. You see the listing fee, the transaction fee and the payment fee separately, because they behave differently as your price changes.

Reverse pricing

Turn “I want $20 per unit” into a price. This is the calculation spreadsheets get wrong, because fees depend on the price you have not chosen yet.

Verified or flagged

Every rate carries a verification status and a link to the platform's own fee page. If we have not checked it recently, the page says so instead of pretending.

Rates change every year — usually without an email
